with news of 21,000 more soldiers being sent to iraq, i'm wondering what people are thinking about the current situation.

I can't understand why people are just going along with it.....I am not american so am not up to date on the legislation..but tell me, doesnt the Congress have to approve spending on these troops?
I couldn't believe it when I heard the news.
Will this action help anybody?
I think it is crazy!! We had more soldiers there---but they were killed!!! Sending more will only get more of out brave soldiers killed, and that needs to stop!!
About all that I want to say is that we shouldn't have gone to Iraq in the first place. They supposedly had WMDs, which have never been found. I am not stupid enough to think that they never had them. They probably got rid of them as soon as they knew that they were going to be attacked.
As for Sadam, he may not have been the greatest guy ever, but it wasn't up to us to oust him. That should have been left up to the people of Iraq.
It is an endless battle and it is frustrating to see the whole thing play out.
